A Light Morning Shower (Open Any May Join)

Buwaru

A light shower followed the heavier thunderstorm that had blown all through the night. Now the lighter rain pattered across the trampled, grassy, ground in a circle of trees. The trees where placed close together creating a strong fortress around the relatively simple looking circle. A few bushes here and there on the outside looked normal though one bush hid the entrance to a wolf pack's den site.

Within one of the many tree-trunk dens lay a large and strangely colored wolf, he slept peacefully breathing quietly in his lonely den. As the rain became stronger and the wind whistled through the leaves he awoke. This brute’s golden eyes opened slowly as he stared out his den’s exit. Not necessarily all too eager to leave the bit of warmth in his den it seemed.

“Huuu…” came the grumble from his muzzle as he lifted his head off his large front paws and stood up slowly. He yawned; parting his jaws wide, tongue lolling out of his mouth as he craned his head back a bit in an over-exaggerated way. This male stood up completely swinging his tail back and forth in lazy way, his eyes drooping a bit as he stared at the rain while it began to let up again. He took a dazed wobble forward and stretched. “Hrrmmmm…” Came from his muzzle as he stretched then he regained his standing position and trotted out into the rain.

He nearly jumped back into the den at the feeling of freezing cold water dripping into his fur coat and hitting his skin. Though he felt the need to keep up his appearance so he only lifted his head and proudly walked into the light, cold, rain. He padded along the trampled grass, so many paws had walked here from so many generations of K’Narta pack members. As a matter of fact it seemed like the young Beta was the only wolf up at this moment.

[Amaya]

As Amaya padded out of her den, she sniffed the cold, damp air. The coldness burned her nostrels. Rain drummed on the smooth rock beneath her, creating a soft, comforting beat. Her fur was already soaked to the skin, but she didn't care. She lifted her head to gray cloudy sky, searching for the slightest trace of sun, but there wasn't any. She howled quietly, then leaped off the rock. She spied Buwaru a few tail-lenght ahead of her. She padded up to him. "Good morning young Beta," she said happily.

The sound of a howl that was all to familiar sent chills down his already cold fur. The large brute turned to see the beautiful Alpha female trotting towards him, all females were something of beauty to him but a female with power that she attained on her own? Amazing. He grinned at her with his usual coy smile turning his side to face her and bowed his head to the smaller wolf, not to say anything about her size in particular; most wolves were smaller than him anyway. His ears flattened against his skull and tail wagging in a friendly manner.

"Good morning to you my lovely Alpha, and how are you on this fine, wet morning?" he asked still grinning with his head low.

[Amaya]

Amaya laughed and wagged her tail. "I'm fine Buwaru. How are you? "
She shook droplets from her wet fur and listened to the sound of the rain drumming on the rocks and the ground around her. It was a peaceful, relaxing sound that she calmed her, after all the stress put on her lately.

Buwaru lifted his head, and nearly stepped away from Amaya, he had forgotten how tall he was compared to her. He hid his shock with a light chuckle, swinging his head back and forth like he was saying no, but lifted it again a playful look in his golden eyes. He swiped a paw across some grass that just happened to be sticking up almost in an awkward way.

He lifted his head at Amaya's voice and grinned "Oh thats great, and you know I'm always my happiest when I'm around you" the words rolled off his tongue with ease, like silk, this was one of his usual lines, it sometimes had females adoreing him but whenever he would test a line on Amaya it seemed she didn't care. Which actually was all the very nice that she didn't swoon over a line.

[Amaya]

Amaya narrowed her eyes and cocked her head, letting out a breath of laughter. There was happiness, and amusement in her blue green eyes. "Yes," she said, trying to sound like she agreed. She lifted her head to the sky and allowed drops of rain to fall on her face. They ran off her fur almost immediatly. It almost looked like she was crying, but there was a grin of happiness on her face. She lowered her head and looked at Buwaru. She realized how it was almost pathetic that they were really the only two in the pack, for now. "Care to go hunting?" she asked him.

((Your not actually the only two in the pack, you have to pretend like there is a whole bunch of members, that's why the plots not instated yet XD))

Buwaru smiled and playfully pawed at she-wolf's shoulder then looked back quickly to make sure none of the elders where awake yet to scold him for pup behavior. He admired the alpha fae, she looked so nice in the rain, so very nice, and the rain made look lovel- wait what did she ask? Oh if he wanted to go hunting. "Well, I don't know... if the rest of the pack wakes up and finds us gone..." he hesitated then grinned mischeviously. "If they find us gone they may think we went and did some dirty business" he said quietly leaning down to whisper in the fae's ear, he had such a pervy mind.

((GAHHH IT'S ONLY ONE PARAGRAPH NOW **head desks** Oh well..))

[Amaya]

(Yes, I know, but she's thinking it's like that because the other's don't do much.)

Amaya screwed up her eyes, but let out a laugh. She wagged her tail playfully. "You silly pup,' she barked. "I don't think they'd think that. Plus, we won't be long. We'll bring back a deer or two. What do you say?" She looked sincerely at him, a playful look in her bright eyes. He looked handsom behind the thick curtain of rain, with his fur plastered to his skin, and his eyes glowing brightly, the only thing that hinted where he was. He was incrediably huge, yes, very, but that didn't make him look indimating. Well, at least not to her.

He laughed with her tail wagging then flattened back his ears. "I'm not a pup!" he pouted. "I was just thinking about a possibility" he said grinning coyly raising up his head. His rounded ears perked up, and his tail lifted in a temporary state of dominance. He then let his tail and ears relax and lolled out his tongue. "Or two? Isn't that a bit much for just the two of us to handle ma'am?"

"I say yes of course, you are my alpha, your rules are law." he answered play-bowing into the flattened grass, rump in the air and tail wagging. He shot back up and looked away then peered at her out of the corner of his eye. "Like what you see?" he asked sticking his tongue out at her and winking, he joking this time, for now.

[Amaya]

Amaya smiled ever so slightly. She flicked his cheek with her tail. "I was joking," she said after he said "Isn't that a bit much for us to handle?" She stepped back, head cocked, ears perked and tail straight up, watching him "show off". She sighed and rolled her eyes. Betas. They don't make them like the used to, she thought. She let out a puff of air and looked around the rainy clearing. No one else had come out of their den yet. "I'm sure it wouldn't hurt if we hunted for a bit. So you comin' or not?" she said, flipping her long mane bangs out of her eye.

"You better be" he growled playfully batting her tail away. The large brute huffed, he really didn't want to go out, it was raining and he was cold and he hated hunting. And well the list could go on and on and on about how much he could complain about it.

He scoffed and rolled his eyes in a playful manner, "Of course m'lady" he answered, then he looked back at the warm den and then tryed to look at this in a positive way, i he went out know there was a good chance he wouldn't have to go out later. He looked back at the lovely Alpha Fae and smiled "So let's get our tails a'movin" he said padding towards the exit.
